The jazz combo program was created to provide a vehicle for  improvisation. Interested students must be enrolled
in jazz  band and are selected for one of the four combos by audition.  These groups perform at many community
events and  business venues.

 These self-directed ensembles also showcase the writing talents of student members, as many are performing their
own  original compositions and arrangements.
