Jazz Educator Resource Panel
This Panel is made up of Jazz Educators / Musicians from all over the State of Iowa. Each member has agreed to be
“on-call” for any directors/teachers that would like an extra hand with jazz-related issues. This could include anything
from literature recommendations, rehearsal tips, all-state jazz preparation, guest artist/clinician visits, help with improvisation,
or even just a sounding board for ideas. While it is not an official “mentoring program”, it has very similar characteristics,
and we hope educators will choose to take advantage of these resources. The goal is to reach as many students / teachers
as possible, so please feel free to contact these individuals with any questions! Let's spread the word!
